01Using our apps
By downloading or using an AALROOT app, these terms automatically apply to you – so please read them carefully before using the app.
- You're not allowed to copy or modify the app, any part of the app, or our trademarks in any way.
- You're not allowed to try to extract the app's source code, translate the app into other languages or make derivative versions.
The app itself, and all the trademarks, copyright, database rights and other intellectual property rights related to it, belong to AALROOT.
02Changes to the apps and charges
AALROOT is committed to making the apps as useful and efficient as possible. For that reason, we reserve the right to make changes to the apps or to charge for their services, at any time and for any reason.
03Your data and your phone
Our apps store and process personal data that you have provided to us, in order to provide our Service – see our Privacy Policy for details.
It's your responsibility to keep your phone and access to the app secure. We therefore recommend that you do not jailbreak or root your phone (removing the software restrictions and limitations of your device's official operating system). It could make your phone vulnerable to malware, viruses or malicious programs, compromise your phone's security features, and mean that the app won't work properly or at all.
04Third-party services
The apps use third-party services that have their own terms and conditions:
05Internet connection and data charges
Some functions of the apps need an active internet connection, over Wi-Fi or your mobile network. AALROOT cannot take responsibility for an app not working at full functionality if you don't have access to Wi-Fi and have no data allowance left.
If you use an app outside an area with Wi-Fi, the terms of your agreement with your mobile network provider still apply. You may be charged by your provider for the data used while accessing the app, or for other third-party charges. By using the app, you accept responsibility for any such charges, including roaming charges if you use the app outside your home territory (region or country) without turning off data roaming. If you are not the bill payer for the device, we assume you have the bill payer's permission to use the app.
06Your responsibility
AALROOT cannot always take responsibility for the way you use the apps. For example, you need to make sure your device stays charged – if it runs out of battery and you can't turn it on to use the Service, AALROOT cannot accept responsibility.
07Accuracy and liability
Although we work to keep the apps updated and correct at all times, we rely on third parties to provide some information to us so that we can make it available to you. AALROOT accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, that you experience as a result of relying wholly on this functionality of the apps.
08App updates and ending the service
We may wish to update the apps from time to time. The apps are available on Android and iOS, and the requirements for these systems (and for any other systems we decide to make the apps available on) may change – you'll need to download the updates if you want to keep using the apps.
AALROOT does not promise that it will always update the apps so that they are relevant to you and work with the Android or iOS version installed on your device. However, you agree to always accept updates to the apps when offered to you.
We may also stop providing an app, and may end its use at any time without notice. Unless we tell you otherwise, when it ends: (a) the rights and licences granted to you in these terms will end; and (b) you must stop using the app and, if needed, delete it from your device.
09Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, so please review this page now and then. We will tell you about any changes by posting the new terms on this page, with a new "Last updated" date at the top.
